To Become a Full Member
To become a full and respected member, present the alpha with a fit buck, brought down by yourself, with as little tarnishes - wounds - as possible.
To Ask For a Wolf As a Mate
You must first seek the alphas permission. Presenting him with a sacrifice is a good idea, he is very cranky and unwilling when hungry. To show respect, keep your tail between your legs, you head down, and don't look him in the eye. Calling him 'master' and such names is helpful.
Spring Tradition
Every spring, there is a pack hunt, and every member over 2 must attend. A wolf is deemed by the alpha to be Lead Hunter for the next year.
Fall Tradition
Females start to go into heat, so naturally, the males are already ready for a fight. For the alphas amusement, all males will fight at once, and the winner gets the highest ranked female as a mate, the alphess [unless she has an alpha], the beta female, or the alphas daughter. It is truly an honor.
Be warned, you only get her for a year, and will have to fight to keep her...
Cleanse the Land, and Prove Your Loyalty
A bloody ceremony that has been resurrected by Matrix. A few Previous alphas have tried to shift the pack away from the superior thinking, but Matrix clings to the ancient ways.
Present a noble sacrifice, the mutilated body of half-blood or filth-blood wolf from another pack, and you will be greatly rewarded...
Mud-blood Hunting:
At the end of the year, last few days of winter, the warriors of the pack leave and hunt down mud-bloods. The mud-bloods are brought back to camp - dead or alive- to be presented to the Alpha. Any mud-bloods brought that are alive still are killed by the alpha themselves. Warriors are rewarded for the mud-bloods they bring back.
